How to replace Norton ConnectSafe with CleanBrowsing. On November 15, 2018, the Norton ConnectSafe service will be retired, discontinued; meaning the service will no longer be available or supported. If you use Norton ConnectSafe as your DNS resolver expect disruption in your service. Access to the web will no longer work after November 15th, 2018.

Your alternate server should be 208.67.220.220 for OpenDNS. 8.8.8.8 is Google's DNS service. As long as you are not getting the DNS address automatically, and you have OpenDNS addresses in the boxes, there is no way that Norton ConnectSafe will be involved.

It means that anyone that is still using their DNS on that date, will go down with them as Dec 26, 2005 · HERE IS HOW TO DELETE ALL NORTON FOLDERS! uninstall it normally than turn on show hidden folders in your explorer settings than reboot in safe mode than once in safe mode delete away! i did this and it works just go into your files explorer in safe mode and delete all the norton and symtec folders, for some reason a virus keeps poping up in those folders so i had to get rid of them
